Congratulations once again to all contributors for the acceptance of their submissions. The next steps for final paper upload are described here.

Concerning visa formalities, as soon as a registration is validated, the participants receive an invitation letter. In case required, participants can at the personal data stage of the registration procedure enter additional information to be included on the invitation letter.

Invitation letters are created only using the registration system and require payment of the registration fees. Invitation letters are only for congress participants and may not be edited for accompanying persons. For further information concerning Visa procedures, the participants are invited to contact their local French consulate.

Paper acceptance email have been sent on Monday 27 February 2017. Congratulations to the authors of the nearly 2800 accepted papers and extended abstracts.

The next actions for accepted papers is

To register to the World Congress.
Please read the Registration page instructions and the detailed Registration Procedure.
Bare in mind the "Declare papers for upload" step of the Procedure. At this step you should inform the system with the ID numbers of the papers you whish to upload.
Submit your final version of the paper in PaperCept. Deadline for final version paper upload is 31 March 2017.
Having registered you shall receive an email containing a Confirmation / Invoice. On the second page of this PDF file you shall find the PaperCept Submission code (long code containing letters and numbers) to be used for paper upload in PaperCept. There is one code per paper.

The IFAC 2017 World Congress has received 4256 contributions. The International Program Committee works hard to finalize the reviewing/selection process. Most of the work has been done. Associate Editors and Technical Associate Editors have finalized the evaluation of each contribution. Nevertheless, acceptance/rejection notifications may not be ready for the initial date of 20 February 2017. The notifications are postponed to 24 February.

Update on 24 February: decisions are almost ready but some last cross check should be done. New notification date: 27 February.
