The Congress venue combines the buildings described below. Note that the sessions mainly take place at the Pierre Baudis Congress center, some at Hotel Mercure Toulouse Centre Compans and Palais des Sports, few ones (Automotive dedicated technical sessions) at Le Manoir du Prince.

Pierre Baudis Congress Center

The congress center serves as the central meeting location. It hosts:

• The welcome desk (ground floor).
• The desk for tourist offers.
• The exhibitors (Concorde room at -1 basement level).
• The main coffee break locations (Concorde Hall at Level -1, Caravelle Hall at Level 0, Ariane Hall at level 1).
• Bag storage facilities in Caravelle Hall at Level 0. Opening hours are:
  • 8:00-18:30 on Saturday 8,
  • 8:00-22:30 on Sunday 9,
  • 8:00-20:00 on Monday 9, Tuesday 11 and Thursday 12,
  • 8:00-18:30 on Thursday 13,
  • 8:00-20:30 on Friday 14.
• The session rooms

  • Latécoère, Mermoz (0.5 intermediate level)

Hotel Mercure Toulouse Centre Compans

Boulevard Lascrosses, 8 Espl. Compans Caffarelli, 31000 Toulouse

The hotel is the neighboring building next to the congress center, with a direct internal link between the two buildings. It hosts:

• a friendly cafe and restaurant (not in the Security Congress zone),
• the sessions rooms: Gavarnie, Toulouse, Conques, Cordes, Lourdes, Pic du Midi (with direct access from the Congress Center).

Palais des Sports

3 Rue Pierre Laplace, 31000 Toulouse

This multi-sports arena is located in front of the congress center across the pedestrian square called Esplanade Compans Caffarelli. It hosts:

• the opening and closing ceremonies (main arena),
• the plenary and semi-plenary sessions (main arena),
• the demonstrator session rooms: handball, volleyball at Level -1,
• the sessions rooms: basketball, rugby, football, hockey (in temporary buildings located next to the demonstrator rooms).

Novotel Toulouse Centre Compans Caffarelli

5 Place Alphonse Jourdain, 31000 Toulouse

This hotel is situated at five minutes walking distance across the Compans-Caffarelli park. It will host the IFAC secretariat and IFAC official meetings, including the Technical Committee meetings.

Restaurant Arsenal at University Campus

2 Boulevard Armand Duportal, 31000 Toulouse

This self service restaurant of the neighboring university is located at less than ten minutes walking distance from the congress center. Usually closed during the summer break, it opens for the IFAC World Congress with a special lunch offer. Tickets can be purchased on the registration site.

Le Manoir du Prince

999 Routes de Seysses - 31120 Portet - sur - Garonne

This recently renovated prestigious site will host the Congress Gala Dinner and well as Automotive dedicated technical sessions (including demonstrations) on Thursday 13 July.
